Hello! You've found my website! Welcome. I have built this site from the ground up,
and will be continually improving my skills, and showing what projects I have done
in the past and the ones I'm working on currently.
Here's a little about me as a person!
I am Isaac Bucknell. I think of myself as a creative person, I love to create things from very little, especially digitally. I do
my best to learn what I can and increase my skills. The easiest way for me to learn is when I'm in past my skill level, with a
challenge to face. I do best in an environment that encourages learning and allows failure to understand things better.
I give my work my all, and believe that my work represents who I am as a person. I aim to work efficently with quality results. I am
very open to criticism, and hope others that know more will steer me in the right direction. I beleive in people building each other up,
growing together as a group helps everyone to learn individually, and apply those skills in unexpected ways. I believe in honesty, even
when someone does something wrong. Deception only leads to wasted time, resources, and energy. It's important to be honest, and to be upfront
about shortcomings.
Hobbies
As stated above, I really enjoy the creative proccess. Here's some of my bigger passions!
I love to make short film / narrative type videos on Youtube. I've done it for a quite a while off an on. It's a very time consuming art, so
I'm not able to do it as often as I'd like. Editing the videos is one of my favorite aspects of it, seeing all the pieces and clips coming together,
adding music and video effects, it's a very rewarding proccess.
I love to make music. I have played piano for over ten years now, and will occasionally post a video on Youtube, and a song on Spotify. Music is
one of those things that has helped me clear my head, and proccess things in the past. I have learned guitar, and have a banjo I doodle on now and
again. One instrument I really want to learn is the Accordion, it looks really fun, as well as a good challenge.
Writing is one hobby that has taken up more recently. Before I was in highschool, my parents had homeschooled me, and we'd write some wacky stories
for that day's english class. Writing I've always found enjoyable because it's the best way to get the images in my mind out, trying to explain the
images and the scenes I have in my head. I have yet to publicly post of publish any of my writing, but I have some large projects in the works!
